FOX CHICAGO- Illinois' largest independent craft brewery will close one of its Chicago locations next month.

Revolution Brewing announced Saturday that it will be closing its Logan Square brewpub on Dec. 14.

The brewpub hosted weddings, fundraisers, and Oktoberfest celebrations, becoming a beloved neighborhood spot.

Despite efforts to adapt, the brewpub has experienced a decline in business.

Really sad news out of Logan Square.

Point remains: Revolution makes a bunch of great beers and they’re going to keep making those beers.

It just sucks that to lose their premier location in asomehow-still-developingpart of an extremely old neighborhood.

So far past your traditional Wicker Park hipster fare that I can’t really do Logan Square justice.

The duality of being easy and risky is never more present than it is in Logan Square.

Is it Jefferson Park or Edison Park or Roscoe Village?

Absolutely not and don’t ask another stupid question like that.

How/why is worth another blog so let me just say now that he sucks.

Good news is that Revolution will still be open for the next 6 weeks.

You get to see how your date interacts with delicious beer.

There’s weird bars and “clubs” if you want to pivot to weird stuff.

There’s fancy cocktail lounges and unique experiences.

There’s late night pizza and authentic Mexican if the date goes well.

Because Steve is actually lame.

That’s kinda how I see this news about Revolution closing this location.
