This is a brand new series based on stories of creating big-budget franchise movies.
The premise and the fact that it is HBO is already a great sign.
What should really sell you, though, is two names: Sam Mendes and Armando Iannucci.
Some really good suspense and killer acting from the reemerging Josh Hartnett.
Salem’s Lot
I’ll admit that I don’t know a ton about Salem’s Lot.
A cursory search shows it’s an adaptation of Stephen King’s second book.
They made it into a miniseries in the 70s that was very well received.
Solid big two cast members in Lewis Pullman and Pilou Asbaek.
