It was supposed to be an easy day.
After a month Poch finally became our guy.
I stand by that and will fight it’s a good hire unless he turns into Jurgen Klinsman.
This team is talented.
I don’t think they can win a World Cup, I still have somewhat of a brain.
But can they compete?
So, yeah, I think we can make a run in 2026.
But then this shit happened:
A tie against New Zealand.
I don’t care that we didn’t have top guys playing.
It’s New Zealand.
Not only was it New Zealand, it was a game that we had to win.
We just got our shit kicked in by Canada, we failed tremendously at Copa America.
Someone has to show some heart.
I’ll give Pulisic some credit there, he at least subbed on and scored.
Pepi was robbed of a goal on a soft foul call.
It shouldn’t matter though.
No other way to put it.
It’s no 2018.
We didn’t miss a World Cup or anything like that.
It needs to be a win.
I can’t stress this enough.
I want to see our best guys out there.
I want to see them actually caring and not going backwards like the last 5 months.
