Check out these accolades from the last 3 seasons.

Georgia has Heisman front runner QB Carson Beck under center once again with talent everywhere.

The Bulldogs have an elite defense once again and possibly the most loaded roster in college football.

But things are not always what they seem.

Let’s take a look at the biggest questions facing Georgia this fall.

  1. Can the offense replace the dynamic duo of TE Brock Bowers & WR Ladd McConkey?

The 13th and 34th pick of the NFL Draft are going to be hard to replace even for Georgia.

Bowers was a once in a generation TE and McConkey had such a unique skill set.

I mean look at these highlights!

And the WR corps is talented too but some players are irreplaceable.

OC Mike Bobo did a damn good job last year too after many questioned the hire.

With Beck taking snaps, this offense is going to be elite and the beat marches on.

  1. Is the defense actually showing signs of regression?

Hell, half of those defenses are currently playing for the Eagles in the NFL.

  1. Will the off-field problems bleed into the season?

The Bulldogs have been making headlines for all the wrong reasons with a rash of arrests this offseason.

Almost all of them are driving related.

What the hell is going on?

Are there not any Ubers in Athens?

In this day & age, these problems seem absurd as they are easily avoidable.

Kirby Smart needs to clean this stuff up ASAP.

  1. Can Georgia get through a tough schedule unscathed?

This is the biggest question to me.

For years, Georgia has destroyed the weaker SEC East with very favorable schedules.

The Bulldogs have THREE brutal road games at Alabama, Texas & Ole Miss too.

This is by far the hardest schedule they have played in a long time.

This fall, the Dawgs can lose 2 regular season games and still make it.

And that is exactly what I predict is going to happen.

After home wins over Auburn & Miss State, the Bulldogs head to Austin October 19th.

That pays off for the Rebels and Georgia loses their 2nd game of 2024.
