I don’t blame him, this was the season that Rutgers went all-in.
They went out and got Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper.
They banked on two top-5 NBA picks to push this program to a different level.
Let me be clear, Ace Bailey and Dylan Harper have lived up to the hype.
However, Rutgers missed on who to bring around them.
It’s also important to note Pikiell is a defensive coach.
The man lives to kill you on defense.
This team is awful on defense.
They have to have a go at outscore everyone and they can’t.
That’s where this frustration comes in.
He knows this season has been a disaster compared to hype.
This man is broken.
I appreciate the honest response, but, yeah, you could feel the frustration there.
