Sometimes you see a moment on Twitter and think “this is going to get some hot takes.”
Not to brag, I was right.
I must say, people were not as worked up about this as I thought they would be.
Usually, a situation like this would spark a debate as it was a unique, reverse proposal.
Maybe everyone just saw that these two were French and just said ahhh okay, makes sense.
The French have always been a little bit weird.

I thought that would’ve been a place they’d excel in.
I always thought you’d have to “win” to do a post-competition proposal.
I put quotations around win because we are talking about the Olympics, and winning equals finishing top 3.
