I got upgraded to first class over the weekend a few minutes before boarding.
The flight was maybe 30% full and it was a two hour domestic flight.
So I was naturally pretty excited to see an upgrade to seat 3F.
The flight was quick and the perks were fairly limited.
The seat was nice and wide.
As a 6'3" 205 lbs.
guy, the wide seat and extra leg room were certainly nice.
An extra wide arm rest rules.
No jostling over the thin ones in coach.
To be honest, it was kind of disappointing.
I got an alcoholic drink, which was free of charge.
But that was it!
No hot towels, no warm chocolate chip cookies and no more!
Just booze and a snack.
So I asked The Yak what the actual perks were and why they like to fly first class.
Not worth it in my opinion, but to each his or her own!
