Well, that was this night.
The night that Dan Campbell declared all roads go through Detroit.
Was he just doing his normal fire everyone up speech?
But he nailed it.
Since then the Lions have gone 27-7 in the regular season and clinched their first ever 1 seed.
I know people out there like to clown on Campbell now whenever he fails for one of his gambles.
But let’s just take a moment and realize we’re talking about the Detroit Lions here.
They were arguably the biggest loser franchise in all of sports.
No one ever thought they’d win.
We saw them waste Barry Sanders, Matthew Stafford, Calvin Johnson and now we’re here.
Even Jared Goff knows how important Dan Campbell is:
They get to take any victory lap they want.
They were a couple plays/decisions away from playing for a Super Bowl last year.
They are hosting the playoffs this year.
I’d like to have a Dan Campbell one day.
Just give us Lions vs Bills so America can sit back and enjoy the Super Bowl.
