Aside from me being awesome, the Gettysburg vs Muhlenberg game was awesome as well.
It was a 10-9 final with Gettysburg just sneaking out of there with the win in overtime.
Now a couple of things to note here–1) This is true DIII Grit.
These guys don’t have all the amenities and luxuries of guys calling DI games.
They don’t have commercial breaks during halftime.
The camera is constantly rolling, and the mic is constantly hot.
But in DIII, you just have to power straight through halftime.
Ever thought about that?
It’s all about making adjustments on the fly, battling through adversity, and being versatile.
Anyways, I’m just glad to see DIII lacrosse still alive and thriving.
DIII sports are the backbone of American society, and we’d cease to exist without them.
Just maybe give the boys a “dump” button up there in the booth just to be safe.
