They needed to move quick and they did.
My opinion on Buzz Williams is pretty much everyone’s- the guy knows how to win games.
That’d be nice.
And honestly, it’s sorta overblown how many schools he’s coached at.
It’s not that many.
Just a super successful coach, no doubt about it.
That was my first option, to be honest.
Get someone super hungry and hope you got the next Brad Stevens.
Maryland went the safe route though, which is also fine and I get it.
But if there was ever a time to gamble, this was probably it.
But hey, Buzz is only 52 years old.
He can be around for a while.
We owe it to Buzz for coming into an impossible situation.
