I know people probably weren’t locked into the Mexico Open yesterday.

Go back to the first tweet in the blog.

That was Brian Campbell’s tee shot on the 2nd playoff hole.

Ball was destined to go OB.

That thing had no chance of being anything good, likely costing him his first ever win.

Instead he got the kick and wins the damn thing.

So what’s he do after?

Him and his caddie take a beer and go toast the tree.

That’s how you respect the game, keep good luck on your side.

In fact he should ask for a branch or two, gotta take it home with you.

That tree just gave you $1.26 million ($763,000 for 2nd).

Legit life changing win for a dude that hasn’t had that yet on Tour.

All because of that tree saving your ball on the 2nd playoff hole.

Yeah, I’d say bringing a beer there is well worth it.

If you golf, you know the jokes.

Someone in your group is saying member’s bounce.

But you also know that feeling of getting the break, it changes your entire mood.

One snap hook drive ends up in the first cut because a tree saves you.

That triple bogey becomes a regular bogey, we’re all normal here, no need to lie.

Now imagine that feeling for a million bucks and your entire life changing.
