Having said that, some people will watch Bill Burr’s monologue and cast him away because they just.
Not the jokes, the fact that he’s able to make them.
Whether or not you think they’re funny is beside the point.
Comedy is about taking risks and pissing people off.
Saying what “shouldn’t be said” or what people are too afraid to say.
That and making people laugh.
Bill Burr did all of the above in his opening monologue and that’s a great sign.
