Everybody knows that UNC was a dream job for Bill Belichick.
Not because he had this burning desire to coach at the college level.
But because of its proximity to lacrosse greatness.

The man spent damn near 50 years coaching in the NFL.
He’s been a part of 8 Super Bowl winning teams.
Yet the one thing that wakes him up every morning is the game of lacrosse.

To be fair, UNC has been having a few down years as far as the lacrosse program goes.
UNC can go out and get any recruit they want.
In the span of like 4 or 5 days, he already grabbed 3 lacrosse players for next fall.
Starting off with the best midfielder in this year’s high school senior class, Gary Merrill.
Then the floodgates were officially opened.
After that was Jermaine Anderson, a 4-star recruit in this year’s senior class.
Because they just got one of the best overall athletes in the 2026 class in Crew Davis.
Chris Hogan was a pretty decent lacrosse player.
There’s no denying that.
But these guys are all some of the best in their class.
I sure as shit hope Ohio State didn’t have any plans on starting a dynasty.
