Come for the implosion of the Trop, stay for the extremely Vegas 5 minute firework show beforehand.
Only Vegas could blow up a legendary property and celebrate it like it’s the 4th of July.
That will leave only the Flamingo from the citys mob era on the Strip.

But, Schumacher said, the Flamingos original structures are long gone.
The casino was completely rebuilt in the 1990s.
The Tropicana, the third-oldest casino on the Strip, closed in April after welcoming guests for 67 years.
Will the Trop be missed?
I guess some people will miss it.
The good news- they are building the baseball stadium on that lot.
I’m a huge fan of sports in Vegas.
The Knights playing on the strip has made Winter trips to Sin City so much better.
It’s so easy to get to from the Strip and a great way to spend a couple hours.
It’s unfortunate John Fisher gets to reap the benefits of having a team in Vegas, though.
Nobody deserves it less.
All in all though, new is always better.
I think all old, dusty buildings should be blown up and new shiny ones should be built.
Keep the Flamingo forever.
