We can all stop talking about or pretending the Bengals are a good team now, right?
They basically have Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and some other weapons.
That’s what bails them out for 4 wins.
Everything about the play calling to the blocking stinks.
I don’t blame Chase for this at all.
He’s actually been pretty damn good (and that’s underselling it).
Burrow has been even better.
But it all doesn’t matter.
It’s where football gets weird in terms of talking win/loss to players.
But, Chase is right.
Ask Zac Taylor why the Bengals keep losing games.
Then again it’s pretty simple.
There’s no scouting, weak drafts and moves and then praying Burrow bails you out.
That’s how the Bengals live and it bit them in the ass this year.
No doubt that Zac Taylor has been bad, he’s going to likely get fired.
Can’t wait to see how contract negotiations go!
