All the great coaches know sometimes you gotta take matters into your own hands.
Mike Tomlin tripped the Ravens for a reason.
That coach in Friday Night Lights laid out Tim Riggins to prove a point.

This guy knew what he had to do in the moment and that was stop a counter-attack.
Play for the win (or likely the tie).
But what I really love?
The hands up like he did nothing wrong:
Clean tackle!
The hands up right away like he did nothing wrong, sells it.
I bet there was someone in the dozens and dozens of people in the crowd thinking nothing wrong happened.
If you won one person over while saving a goal, you accomplished what you set out to do.
I kinda love the thought process though.
Goals are precious in soccer, not the easiest to come by.
Why give the other team a clean look?
Just take one for the team, go crack a beer in the locker room.
On Sundays, we are all football fans who come to watch games driven by passion.
To get an advantage this way is unfair and deserves punishment, as it has partially happened already.
Theres not much to add.
Why would you fire a guy for trying to win?
That guy can coach my team any day of the week.
