I’m not sure what happened to Anthony Richardson after Week 1.

Week 1 was so promising.

The Colts didn’t win.

He threw an interception.

But he also had 212 yards passing, 56 yards rushing, and 3 total TD’s.

And one of those touchdowns was maybe the best touchdown pass a quarterback has thrown all season.

I’m not sure I can in good conscious call it talent.

Talent is all encompassing.

That might not be the best example, but you see what I’m driving at.

Regardless, Colts fans had hope after Week 1.

At least I did.

Maybe I shouldn’t have.

Maybe FIRST ROUND MOCK was right.

Because ever since then, Richardson has been a disaster.

His second one wasn’t much better.

He’s airmailing passes left and right.

It’s not like he’s being pressured either.

His offensive line is fantastic.

It’s almost like he has too much time to think.

Like he has the yips or something.

I’ve never heard of a quarterback having the yips.

Quarterback doesn’t seem like a position that should be prone to yips.

Throwing a football is such a natural thing.

But he sure looks the part.

To be honest, he may have been born with them.

At this point, you might as well play out the season.

They’ll find another quarterback either in the draft or free agency.

Then start the whole thing over again.

Or maybe he miraculously becomes accurate.

There’s still a part of me that thinks he will.

It’s just that the missed throws he makes.. some of them look so easy.

Just throw the ball 10 feet lower my guy.

How can a person with that much talent not be able to figure that out?

It doesn’t make any sense.

Plus he still occasionally does things like this…

He has potential to be the most electric bust of all time.

I’m writing blog at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The Colts just scored to take a 14-3 lead.

And to Anthony Richardson’s credit, he contributed to the TD.

Obviously not by throwing the ball.

But I appreciate him getting in there and pushing the pile.

Regardless, I’m afraid the Colts have a quarterback problem on their hands.

I still think you give AR the rest of the year.

But I’m far more worried now than I’ve ever been since Anthony Richardson was drafted.
