Hand up, I was wrong about Clase.
I wanted him to be the Cy Young (even though it was clearly Skubal).
Kerry Carpenter wounded him, and now the Yankees have broken him.
We just had to get through 3 batters…and we couldn’t get through any.
Look, the Yankees are good.
I’d do anything to have someone like Judge, Soto, or Stanton in our lineup.
They have all three of them in a row.
So my thing is this: why do we have to help them with bullshit calls like this?
Don’t get me wrong.
I just think that umpire is bad.
