What a couple of years it’s been for Alec Baldwin.
This is a man being held against his will.
One of the great actors of his generation is a captive.
He’s got full blown Stockholm Syndrome.
I’ve rewatched this a dozen times now to look for signs he’s blinking “SOS.”
Or better yet, SEAL Team 6 to chopper in and rescue this poor man.
Imagine for one hot second what it’s like when no one’s around.
And this is the thanks he gets.
And while I’d never defend her, at least she has an acting career of her own.
Baldwin is getting this treatment from his trophy wife as the world looks on.
And in doing so, she’s done the near impossible.
Which is make all of us feel horrible for one of the least sympathetic people in all of Hollywood.

And that it’s not too late to signal that you’re looking to be rescued.
