Someone told me how much Mike had fought for me.
They said it had to be you, no matter what HBO said.
It was honestly from the nicest place, but my little head goes: HBO didnt want me.
And I know why HBO didnt want me, its because I’m ugly.
Mike had to say hey let me have the ugly girl!
That was the thing that was in my head.
First of all, shame on HBO!
Don’t meddle in the casting of White Lotus!
Second of all, another tip of the cap to Mike White for knowing what’s good.
Aimee Lou Wood as Chelsea is as perfect as it comes where that kind of character is concerned.
Her delivery is perfection, her emotions are perfection…what would we have done without her?
Separately, her onscreen/offscreen relationship with Rick/Walton Goggins is one of the most interesting parts of this whole season.
Did everyone catch Walton’s post about Aimee (posing as Rick/Chelsea)?
Imagine if none of this happened because “HBO didn’t like Aimee”?
Leave the casting up to the writers/directors.
Networks just cash those checks!!
