Boy does it feel weird right now being a Yankee fan.

It’s nice, but also strange.

The mainstay has been the bullpen dominance.

Clay Holmes bailed out a so-so Gerrit Cole in the 5th which kept the lead.

Tommy Kahnle did his thing and the 8th and Luke Weaver shut the door in the 9th.

I’m very grateful.

Offensively Gleyber Torres and Anthony Rizzo kept swinging hot bats.

Tough to shake up a lineup while you keep winning like this, but Wells is big time lost.

We’ll see what they do for Game 3.

Gleyber deserves flowers for how much of a rock he’s been at the top of the order.

Now he’s unconscious.

Another three hit night, putting his OPS for the postseason at .933.

Don’t change a goddamn thing, Gleyber.

The story of the night, however, was Aaron Judge.

FINALLY the big man woke up with this massive blast in the 7th to double the lead.

Not a tack on.

Not a porch job.

Nope, a massive, relieving, blistering dead center bomb to put the Guardians away.

Hopefully that puts him at ease now and he just goes off.

Crazy that earlier in the game the Guardians walked Soto with a base open to actually face Judge.

The bomb was more like it.

He had a funny comment after the game about Gleyber trying to tag on that ball.

Don’t hear the haters now.

The Yankees are up 2-0 in the ALCS as they head to Cleveland.

I’ve got an idea: let’s not bring this series back to the Bronx.

End it in Cleveland and move onto the fucking World Series.

They’ve played great on the road all season so I see no reason to stop now.
