The birth took place around 11:30 a.m. on a southbound W train stopped at the 34th Street-Herald Square station.
“Definitely a miracle.
“I’m still minding my business, headphones on.
Some passengers rushed to the conductor to stop the train and called 911.
Another produced a pocket knife to cut the umbilical cord.
“The lady that was holding the baby was able to cut the umbilical cord safely and help her.
But goddamn do they answer the bell when someone is in need.
However, when they heard someone was in need, they jumped into action the New York way.
