I saw Wicked tonight.
I will say, it was very cool to be in a sold out theatre on opening night.
But my excitement ended there.
A few key tidbits about the movie Wicked, which I was blissfully unaware.
The movie is a musical, so be prepared for lots of singing.
I knew it was a broadway play.
I lived near it for several years in New York City.
Never really even considered going to see it.
Figured it wasn’t my speed.
Boy was I right.
I will say, the Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande have great voices.
He was spot on there, because I honestly didn’t like it.
I can see how a person would like it.
My wife loved it.
But it was a bit too fantastical with not enough storyline.
It’s also part one of a two part movie.
That being said, this movie wasn’t something I really enjoyed.
I give it a 4.1/10.
