Yahoo Sports- San Francisco 49ers first-round draft pick Ricky Pearsall was placed on the reserve/non-football injury list Monday.
It means he will be inactive for the first four games of the 2024 season.
Pearsall is lucky to be alive after being wounded on Saturday during an alleged robbery attempt.
A teen attempted to rob the wide receiver of his Rolex watch.
In the ensuing battle, Pearsall and the would-be robber were both wounded.
“He was shot in the chest and it exited out his back.
Thanks be to GOD it missed his vital organs.”
San Francisco Mayor London Breed, meanwhile, described the incident as “terrible and rare.”
Welp it looks like San Francisco is living up to its reputation once again.
