It was not a fun year for Jordan Montgomery and the Arizona Diamondbacks. The only way Arizona would have advanced is if one of those teams were swept on Monday. Just like the Texas Rangers, the Diamondbacks miss the playoffs despite being in the World Series last year. First time both teams have had that happen since 2007.
