The fact that Josh Allen isn’t the leader right now in MVP talks is insane to me. People seem to forget what MVP actually means. He is making magic with basically nothing. There are just so many narratives out there about quarterbacks and I can’t take it anymore. Literally everyone is having a worse year and nobody is talking about this man. Nobody is talking about the Bills as a whole and I can’t wrap my head around it....

Let me tell you, people were PISSED. So GM Joe Hortiz traded up and picked Ladd McConkey. A slightly smaller than average route technician that was coming off a tough injury year? Ok. Not quite as exciting as a MHJ, Nabers or Worthy. Well, I was wrong. McConkey is a beast that is outkicking his draft position in a major way. I really like Elliotte Friedman. I largely do too. Friedman referenced the Jake Guentzel and the Blackhawks run at him this summer. I covered that pretty extensively over the summer. I thought it was a good move. I wish they were able to get it over the goal line. Guentzel ultimately signed for 7 years and $9M AAV with Tampa. Are the Blackhawks a destination…I think they should be. I think they used to be....
I woke up today feeling actually optimistic about the New York Yankees. The first two games in LA were brutal, but all hope is not completely lost. The Yankees came back from down 2-0 in the 1996 World Series. We’ve got three games back in the Bronx. The Dodgers may leave Walker Buehler out to dry tonight to save their relievers for their bullpen game tomorrow. We’ve got Gerrit Cole lined up for a potential Game 5....
