I can’t take it anymore. Travis Hunter won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation’s best wide receiver on Thursday night. It was also provably not the best season a receiver had this year. San Jose State’s Nick Nash led the country in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. By literally any measure, he was the best receiver in the country all season. But Nash had the misfortune of going up against the cult of Hunter....

But the job isn’t finished. I’m not sure how to handle the announcement of this news. Do fanbases get excited? Even UCF had some succesful seasons before Scott Frost won in 2017. I can’t wait for Cig to take us back to the CFP and prove the haters wrong. But I won’t be taking this season for granted, nothing is promised. Glad Cig’s hard work was recognized on the national stage, but it’s on to Notre Dame....
